Help! I need a new bulb for my projector!

Well, wait just a minute. There are some things to check first before you make your school spend hundreds on a projector bulb. If your display is dim, first try it without your classroom lights. The NEC projectors do a fabulous job when lights are on; the Promethean and Sanyo ones aren’t so impressive. If you still aren’t satisfied, then use the remote control’s menu button to adjust brightness and contrast. Next would be to clean the filters. Then check the number of lamp hours through the remote control’s menu button and see if the number approaches 3000. If so, your principal should order one for you ASAP.
