Macbook Batteries

Certain Macbooks have batteries that Apple recommends replacing when you get over 300 cycle counts. Newer Macbooks follow the 1,000 count replacement recommendation. Cycle counts are the number of times your battery gets used a full 100% charge. It can happen in increments; say one day you use your laptop on its battery alone until the battery is half full, then you charge it to full. Then the next day you use it again to half full and then recharge fully again. Those two 50% days equal one cycle.
